El Sol Custom Lighting celebrates its 14th anniversary in 2023 dedicated to the highest level of customer satisfaction with an unsurpassed commitment to manufacturing high quality, hand crafted, decorative lighting fixtures at the best possible price. Successfully working hand in hand with hundreds of architecture & design professionals on hospitality, commercial, multifamily, fine dining, and public space projects nationwide & worldwide, assisting in all stages of the design process from concept to creation to even installation.

In 2009, husband and wife team Willie and Zofia Tovar founded El Sol Custom Lighting in Benton Harbor MI, after almost two decades of building lampshades and custom lighting fixtures with and for other midwestern companies. The Tovar’s were determined to provide the Architectural & Design communities a cost effective source of Made In The USA, high-quality, custom manufactured decorative lighting fixtures; bringing together over 60 years combined experience in the lighting industry.

El Sol has a modern clean 25,000 sq ft UL inspected manufacturing facility now in sister city St Joseph MI, easily accessible for trucking just 5 minutes off interstate 94 and less than half an hour from the i80/90 tollway.

Fire Farm Lighting – during it’s 30th anniversary in 2021 – decided to license 2 dozen of their more popular lighting fixtures & designs to El Sol Custom Lighting so the fixtures could continue as part of the El Sol family. Fire Farm licensed designs made in Michigan are now called “FireFarm by ElSol licensed fixtures”.
